Iran sanctions lifted: billions for terror, oppression, Mideast wars and the nuclear program

STOP THE BOMB warns against risky Iran business – Companies face legal action for terror financing – Iranian regime intensifies arrest and execution waves

The European campaign STOP THE BOMB criticizes the lifting of sanctions against the Iranian regime. "The nuclear deal is an economic stimulus package that institutionalizes Irans nuclear program and when it expires, Iran will still have the components needed for a nuclear bomb. The Iranian regime and especially the Revolutionary Guards, who control the foreign trade and large sectors of the economy, now quickly get access to billions of Euros that they will spend for its sponsorship of terrorism, the war in Syria, the oppression of Iranian citizens and the nuclear program", said STOP THE BOMB spokeswoman Ulrike Becker. "Apart from legal and economic risks, companies must also expect reputational losses. As it was already pointed out last summer by Ariel Muzicant, Vice-President of the European Jewish Congress, European companies, which finance Iran’s terror with trade, will face legal action."

The character of the Iranian regime has not changed since Hassan Rouhani took office. Said Stephan Grigat, Research Director of STOP THE BOMB: "Amid Rouhani’s charm offensive the worst persecution wave since 2009 is currently taking place. His allegedly moderate regime set a sad execution record in 2015 with more than 1000 people killed. In its quest to export the revolution, Iran is waging wars in Syria, Iraq and Yemen. Via terror proxies like Hezbollah it fuels the jihad against Israel, while senior regime officials continue to deny the Holocaust. Those doing business with the Iranian regime support its policy."
