Iran nuclear talks in Vienna: Criticism and protests

STOP THE BOMB hosts lecture on Feb 17 and holds rally on Feb 18

The coalition STOP THE BOMB will be hosting a lecture with political scientist Dr Matthias Kuentzel on "The nuclear agreement with Tehran: a deal for dummies? What is going wrong in the negotiations with the Iranian regime" on February 17th, 07:30PM at Presseclub Concordia, Bankgasse 8, 1010 Vienna. One day before the next round of the nuclear talks in Vienna, Kuentzel will be talking about the chances for a permanent agreement to end the Iranian nuclear program. He will also be focusing on the details of the Geneva interim deal and Rouhani's and Zarif's charm offensive. Kuentzel did his PhD on the German nuclear weapons policy and is the author of i.e. "The Germans and Iran".

On Tuesday, February 18th, 10:00AM, STOP THE BOMB will be holding a protest rally "No acceptance of the Iranian nuclear program! No threats against Israel! For a free and democratic Iran!" in front of the Austria Center Vienna. The rally is supported by the Jewish Community of Vienna, Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan and others.
