Also this year STOP THE BOMB is proud to be a cooperation partner of the renowned international human rights film festival "this human world", which is going to take place 3 - 11 December 2015 in Vienna.
Together we will be hosting a film screening and a panel discussion. For ticket information click here.
The documentary "Those Who Said No" (director Nima Sarvestani, Schweden/Germany 2014, Persian/English) tells the story of the Iran prison massacre in 1988: For the first time in history an international People’s Tribunal convenes in The Hague Court of Justice to investigate the mass executions of political prisoners in Iran during the 1980s. Survivors lead this fight for justice. Together they testify against a crime that has been kept secret from the world for over 25 years. Between 10.000 and 30.000 people were killed. Those responsible for these crimes now serve in high ranking position in the Iranian government. One prominent example is the "Minister of Justice" Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi.
After the screening: Panel discussion (in German) on the current human rights situation in Iran with
Mahsa Abdolzadeh (Political scientist and author)
Amir Gudarzi (Author, filmmaker)
Hiwa Bahrami (Representative of the Democratic Party Kurdistan-Iran in Austria & Germany, Co-author of „Der Iran. Analyse einer islamischen Diktatur und ihrer europäischen Förderer“)
A cooperation of "this human world" and STOP THE BOMB.
