The Ayatollahs’ Anti-Semitism

Lecture in Vienna on Iranian Holocaust Denial and Hatred Against Israel

On Wednesday April 15th at 6:30pm, the coalition STOP THE BOMB will host the lecture "Persian Projections. The Anti-Semitism of the Iranian Regime" with Ulrike Marz at the Jewish Museum Vienna. Note: The event will be held in German.

Marz is a sociologist from University of Rostock in Germany. In her talk, she will describe how the Jews living in Iran today are a minority suffering from systematic discrimination. She will analyze the Iranian regime’s Holocaust denial and annihilation threats against Israel as well as the significance of the inflammatory pamphlet "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion".

Stephan Grigat, STOP THE BOMB’s Research Director who will chair the event, stresses the importance of the issues raised in the lecture: "As a result of the negotiations with the Iranian regime, there is hardly any discussion going on about the regime’s very character. But for an assessment of the Lausanne conclusions it is essential to become aware of the Iranian regime’s anti-Semitism. Only a few days after Lausanne, exponents of the regime proudly boasted about the high number of entries in their Holocaust cartoon contest. Among them are many Europeans, for instance one participant with the pseudonym 'Cyclone B' from Switzerland."
