Stop Abbasi-Davani, father of the Iranian bomb!

Fereydoun Abbasi-Davani, the mastermind of the Iranian nuclear bomb, is scheduled to attend the opening of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). He was appointed by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as head of the Iranian nuclear program and one of his deputy presidents in 2011. Due to his direct involvement in the Iranian nuclear weapons program, he has been subject to UN sanctions since 2007 and his name is mentioned in the EU sanctions resolution passed in 2010. Nonetheless, the travel restrictions were lifted for his visit to Austria due to special regulations for international organizations.

Iran's nuclear program is an existential threat to Israel and also threatens Europe. The Iranian regime denies the Holocaust, spreads anti-Semitic propaganda and has repeatedly threatened to annihilate Israel. It murders the Iranian opposition, hangs gays on construction cranes, harasses emancipated women and persecutes minorities such as the Bahais.

We demand tough and effective sanctions against the Iranian regime and its political isolation!
We call upon all EU member states to follow Canada's example and severe all relations with the Iranian regime and expel their Iranian ambassadors!
We demand to ban front organizations of the Iranian regime such as Hezbollah in Austria and in the EU!

We will not accept that the father of the Iranian bomb and representative of an antisemitic regime appears in Vienna without any protest!
