No EU delegation to Iran!

Protest against the trip to Tehran of Hannes Swoboda MEP, head of the Social Democrats in the European Parliament!

Already tomorrow, November 19th, the head of the Social Democrats in the European Parliament, Hannes Swoboda MEP from Austria, and some of his colleagues want to visit the Iranian regime in Tehran.

This visit thwarts the international efforts for a common position towards the Iranian regime in a time when nothing has changed on the grounds in Iran despite the Iranian charme offensive by the new President Hassan Rouhani and his Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.

The illegal nuclear program is still being continued! The Iranian population is denied even very basic human rights! Executions take place on a daily basis! The persecution of homosexuals, Bahai and other minorities ist still going on unchanged!
